BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS OF ACTIVE IDEOLOGICAL USERS IN THE BALTIC STATES
With the help of cluster analysis of 2 000 profiles, we identified four types of VKontakte users that we called Writers, Distributors, Readers, and Members of the Active Reserve. After that, we investigated the roles of each cluster in generating and reposting ideological content. You can read the results of our work in NATO StratCom research.
BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS ABOUT THE VKONTAKTE BAN IN UKRAINE
We conducted user behavior analysis and, with the help of social graphs, detected the most influential users, those who left VK after the ban, and who remained. We managed to identify the geography of the most-connected users and the least-connected.
BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS FOR SOCIAL BOT DETECTION
During presidential elections in Ukraine, we studied 1 million VKontakte profiles and 10 million posts about the candidates. We noticed suspicious user behavior, such as short time intervals between posts on political topics. This how 40 social bots were detected.
